Screw Conveyor for Industrial Bulk Material Handling and Transport Applications

Product Details
The Haihui screw conveyor is an effective device for achieving continuous and uniform material feeding. By varying the rotational speed, it can meet different feed rate requirements. This equipment is widely used in building materials, chemical processing, and other industries.
Main Features
High Load Capacity and Safe Reliability
The screw conveyor is designed to handle heavy loads while maintaining safe and dependable operation. The robust construction ensures long-term service without unexpected failures.
Strong Adaptability and Easy Maintenance
The conveyor adapts to various material types, from fine powders to granular products. Installation and maintenance are straightforward. The modular design reduces downtime during servicing, and the long service life lowers total ownership costs.
Compact Size and High Rotational Speed
The machine has a compact overall volume. High rotational speed enables rapid and uniform conveying, improving process efficiency without requiring large floor space.
Cleaning Device and Low Noise
A cleaning device is installed at the discharge end to prevent material buildup. The entire unit operates with low noise levels. Inlet and outlet positions can be arranged flexibly to suit different site layouts.
Good Sealing and Rigid Construction
The casing is made from seamless steel tubes, providing excellent sealing and preventing dust leakage. Ends are connected using flanges, forming an integrated structure with high rigidity. This design is especially important when handling fine or dusty materials.
Working Principle of the Screw Conveyor
The LS type screw conveyor works by using a rotating screw to push material along a fixed casing. The screw rotates within a close-fitting trough or tube, and material moves forward by sliding and rolling.
The head and tail bearings are mounted outside the casing to protect them from dust and material contamination. Suspension bearings use plain bearings equipped with dust seals to prevent fine particles from entering. Bearing bushes are typically made from powder metallurgy. When conveying cement, felt bearing bushes are used due to their better sealing performance against fine, abrasive dust. The suspension shaft and screw shaft are connected using a sliding block, which allows for some misalignment and simplifies assembly.
