Haihui Group has successfully secured the contract for the wastewater treatment project at Linyi Kangfa Food and Beverage Co., Ltd. The project employs a combined ‘anaerobic + AO’ process, designed to efficiently treat the high-concentration organic wastewater generated during food production and ensure discharge in compliance with regulatory standards.

Work commenced in the height of summer, with the sun beating down and on-site temperatures remaining persistently high. Compounding the challenge, the fabrication and installation of key equipment—such as the HZIC anaerobic reactors, biogas digesters and aerobic treatment systems—required work at height, significantly increasing both the complexity of the construction and the associated risks.

Faced with the dual challenges of extreme heat and working at height, Haihui Group’s on-site technical staff and construction teams remained steadfast in their duties. They overcame various adverse factors, including the sweltering heat, high physical exertion and limited working conditions, working tirelessly and organising their efforts scientifically. In terms of safety management, the project team strictly enforced safety regulations for work at height and implemented heatstroke prevention and cooling measures to ensure the construction process remained safe and under control; regarding quality control, every step from material acceptance to each fabrication and installation process was strictly carried out in accordance with standards and specifications, ensuring that fabrication and installation precision met design requirements.

Through the collective efforts of all personnel, the project successfully completed the fabrication and installation of the HZIC anaerobic reactors, biogas holders and aerobic treatment systems. Whilst prioritising safety, both construction progress and quality were effectively maintained, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent commissioning and smooth operation of the entire wastewater treatment project.
