Haihui Group has successfully secured the contract to supply and install the double-alkali flue gas desulphurisation system for Shanxi Jincheng Jianniu Metallurgy and Casting Company. With a total investment of 60 million yuan, Shanxi Jincheng Jianniu Metallurgy and Casting Company has transformed its original single-blast-furnace production project into an integrated metallurgy and casting production line, establishing an annual production capacity of 100,000 tonnes of centrifugal ductile iron pipes. To achieve energy-saving and emission-reduction targets and meet increasingly stringent national and local environmental emission requirements, the company selected Haihui Group as the contractor for its flue gas desulphurisation project.
Since securing the contract, Haihui Group’s desulphurisation R&D centre in Jinan has acted swiftly to actively prepare all preliminary work. From optimising technical solutions and selecting equipment designs, through to raw material procurement, manufacturing, and on-site installation coordination, the entire team meticulously planned every stage of the process. Whilst ensuring the quality of the work, the project team managed the schedule scientifically and worked to the tightest deadlines, ultimately completing all installation and commissioning tasks nearly a fortnight ahead of the original contract delivery date. The project successfully passed the acceptance inspection organised by the client, with all indicators meeting design requirements and the desulphurisation efficiency proving stable and reliable, earning high praise and full recognition from the client.
Haihui Group’s double-alkali flue gas desulphurisation technology is a mature desulphurisation process independently developed by the company and successfully applied in engineering practice. Through a sodium-calcium double-alkali cycle involving sodium alkali absorption and calcium alkali regeneration, this technology enables the regeneration and recycling of desulphurisation agents, effectively reducing the operating costs of the desulphurisation system. Furthermore, the process design effectively overcomes the scaling and blockage issues commonly associated with traditional wet desulphurisation methods, significantly enhancing the operational reliability and stability of the desulphurisation system. Thanks to its outstanding advantages—including advanced technology, cost-effective operation and ease of maintenance—Haihui Group’s double-alkali flue gas desulphurisation technology has been widely acclaimed by clients and is now extensively applied in flue gas desulphurisation projects across the steel, sintering, pelletising and boiler industries.
