Product Details

DFMC Series Pulse Bag Filter for Coal-Fired Boiler Dust Control

High Efficiency and Low Emission

Haihui brand DFMC series pulse bag filters are specifically designed for coal-fired boilers. The filter uses a compartment stop-air offline pulse cleaning technology. Dust collection efficiency is very high. Emission concentration can be below 5 mg/Nm³, which meets strict environmental protection standards.

Filtration Process

The filter operates on an outside-to-inside filtration principle. Dust-laden flue gas enters through the inlet port. Proper gas guides distribute the airflow evenly across the entire filtration chamber. Coarse dust particles fall directly into the hopper. The gas then enters the middle casing under the guidance of the flow distribution system. The gas passes through filter bags supported by internal metal cages. Dust collects on the outside surface of the filter bags. Cleaned gas then enters the clean air chamber above the bag section and exits through the outlet duct.

Pulse Jet Cleaning System

Compressed air is used for pulse jet cleaning. The cleaning system consists of an air tank, blow pipes, and pulse valves. When the dust layer on the filter bags reaches a certain thickness, the cleaning controller initiates a cleaning cycle. The controller can operate based on differential pressure, on a timed schedule, or manually. The control system opens solenoid valves in a programmed sequence. Compressed air pulses cause the filter bags to expand rapidly, releasing the dust cake. Pulse duration and cleaning intervals are automatically controlled by a dedicated cleaning program controller.

Dust Disposal

Dust falling into the hopper is discharged through rotary valves or other discharge devices. A centralized conveying system transports the collected dust to a storage silo.

Filter Construction

The filter body consists of the housing, hopper, dust discharge device, support structure, and pulse jet cleaning system.

Protective Features

Before startup, the filter bags are pre-coated to protect them from oil and moisture. During low-load boiler operation with oil assistance, a pre-coating system injects powder into the duct to protect the bags. Bypass protection is activated during boiler startup with oil assistance, tube rupture emergencies, or abnormal flue gas temperatures.

Operational Features

The filter offers both online and offline cleaning modes. Offline maintenance is possible. Leak detection devices monitor bag condition. Temperature, humidity, and differential pressure are monitored online.

Control System

Filter operation, including cleaning cycles, is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC). The entire system operates automatically without an on-site operator. The PLC can communicate with the plant central control system and accept remote commands.

Maintenance

All inspection and maintenance work is performed outside the clean air chamber. Entry into the filter is not required.

Key Characteristics

Small footprint, sound design, excellent sealing, flexible operation, bottom gas entry, offline cleaning, offline maintenance, effective cleaning, fully enclosed filtration zone, external maintenance access, simple operation, and low operating cost.
