Conveyor Idler Stand for Supporting Rollers, Belt and Material Load

Product Details
Haihui idler stands are custom manufactured according to specific customer requirements. Every idler stand is designed and fabricated based on the unique demands of each conveyor application, including belt width, trough angle, load capacity, environmental conditions, and mounting constraints.
Custom Design and Engineering
Haihui does not supply generic, one-size-fits-all idler stands. Engineers work directly with customers to determine the correct frame type, material thickness, mounting hole pattern, and corrosion protection requirements. Custom features may include adjustable height stands, tilting bases for belt training, or reinforced frames for impact zones.
Material Selection
Idler stands are fabricated from structural steel profiles, including channel sections, angle iron, or formed sheet steel. Material grade and thickness are selected based on the required load capacity and service environment. For corrosive applications, galvanized or stainless steel stands are available. For underground mining, flame-resistant coatings or non-sparking materials may be specified.
Design Configurations
Haihui offers several idler stand configurations to suit different conveyor designs. Standard three-roll troughing stands support the carrying belt at 20, 35, or 45-degree trough angles. Two-roll V-return stands support the return belt. Single-roll flat stands are used for light-duty or special applications. Transition stands are provided at the head and tail sections where the belt changes from troughed to flat profile.
Welding and Fabrication Quality
All stands are welded using controlled procedures to ensure consistent strength and dimensional accuracy. Weld inspections and fixture checks are performed throughout production. Finished stands are inspected for squareness, parallelism, and mounting hole alignment.
Surface Protection
Idler stands receive appropriate surface protection based on the operating environment. Standard painting provides basic corrosion resistance. Hot-dip galvanizing offers heavy-duty protection for outdoor, humid, or chemically aggressive environments. Epoxy coatings or powder coating are available for specialized applications.
Customer Collaboration
The custom manufacturing process begins with a detailed discussion of site conditions and conveyor specifications. Drawings are prepared and submitted for customer approval before fabrication begins. This collaborative approach ensures that every idler stand arrives ready for installation with correct fit, alignment, and durability.
