Conveyor Drum Pulley for Belt Driving, Redirection, Tensioning and Tracking

Product Details
Haihui conveyor drum pulleys are professionally manufactured and custom-designed to meet specific customer requirements. Every pulley is engineered based on the application’s unique demands, including belt width, belt tension, material characteristics, and operating environment.
Custom Design and Engineering
Haihui does not offer a one-size-fits-all product. Instead, engineers work closely with each customer to determine the correct pulley diameter, face width, shaft diameter, hub type, and lagging option. Custom features may include tapered or straight hubs, keyed or keyless shaft connections, and specialized bearing arrangements.
Material Selection
Pulley shells are fabricated from high-quality steel plate, with thickness selected according to the required load capacity. Shafts are machined from forged or high-strength steel bar. Weld quality is strictly controlled to prevent fatigue failure under cyclic loading.
Lagging Options
Various lagging types are available to suit different operating conditions. Plain rubber lagging provides general-purpose friction. Diamond or herringbone patterns improve grip on the belt, reducing slip in wet or muddy conditions. Ceramic lagging offers maximum wear resistance for high-tension or abrasive applications.
Quality Assurance
Each pulley undergoes rigorous quality control. Weld inspections, dimensional checks, shaft alignment verification, and balance testing are performed before shipment. Balancing is especially important for high-speed applications to prevent vibration that could damage bearings and the belt.
Applications
Haihui custom pulleys are used as drive pulleys, bend pulleys, tail pulleys, snub pulleys, and take-up pulleys in belt conveyor systems across mining, port, cement, steel, power generation, and bulk material handling industries.
Customer Collaboration
The custom manufacturing process begins with a detailed discussion of operating conditions. Customers provide belt specifications, load data, and site constraints. Haihui engineers then produce drawings for approval before fabrication begins. This collaborative approach ensures that each pulley arrives ready to install and perform reliably over a long service life.
