HMC Single Unit Pulse Jet Bag Filter for Dust Control

Product Details

HMC Single Unit Pulse Jet Bag Filter for Dust Removal

Overview

The HMC series single unit pulse jet bag filter is a compact bag filter design. It uses cylindrical filter bags, an integrated system fan, and pulse jet cleaning. The unit combines high purification efficiency, effective cleaning performance, low pressure drop, long filter bag life, simple maintenance, and safe, reliable operation.

The filter is widely used for dust collection and material recovery in various process systems across metallurgy, building materials, machinery, chemical, mining, and other industries.

Design Features

Cylindrical Filter Bags

The HMC series uses cylindrical filter bags rather than the oval or flat bags found in some compact designs. Cylindrical bags provide more uniform cleaning and longer service life.

Integrated System Fan

A system fan is built into the filter unit. No external fan or ductwork connections are required for basic operation. The integrated design simplifies installation and reduces footprint.

Pulse Jet Cleaning

Pulse jet cleaning delivers short, high-pressure air bursts to the inside of the filter bags. The bags expand suddenly, releasing the accumulated dust cake. This cleaning method maintains low pressure drop without interrupting the filtration process.

Two Series with Twelve Sizes

The HMC series includes two main series with a total of twelve different sizes. This range allows selection of the appropriate capacity for each application.

Two Configuration Options

Each size is available in two configurations:

Type A (Standard with Hopper):
Includes a dust hopper at the bottom. Collected dust falls into the hopper for periodic discharge through a rotary valve or manual slide gate. Suitable for floor mounting with the discharge at a convenient height.

Type B (Open Flange without Hopper):
Designed without a hopper. The outlet is an open flange for direct mounting on a silo or bin top. Collected dust drops directly into the silo. This configuration is ideal for cement silos, fly ash silos, and other storage bins where the collected dust is the product being stored.

Applications

The HMC series serves small dust sources including crushers, conveyors, transfer points, silo vents, packaging machines, mixers, grinders, and dryers. The Type B configuration is particularly popular for silo and bin venting because captured material falls back into the silo, eliminating dust disposal.

Operating Parameters

Filter bags are polyester needle felt rated for continuous operation up to 120°C. Higher temperature options are available. Cleaning is controlled by a timer or differential pressure switch. Compressed air requirement is 0.4 to 0.6 MPa.
